Our evaluation process is established to develop talents and ensure fair and rational HR evaluation. To this end, we encourage active communication between decision-makers to prevent discrimination and unfair disadvantages that may occur if the evaluation is performed by a manager rather than through the Evaluation Committee. The committee consists of leaders from each part and HR departments to ensure application of fair standards and directions for HR development.
At Coway, we pay incentives to our employees at the end of each year based on their individual performance and level of expertise. In 2017, we enhanced our compensation system to improve R&D expertise. For any patents applied by our employees, we compensate them according to the number of applications and difficulty level while providing support programs for the pursuit of academic career in Master’s and Doctoral degrees.
