At Coway, we offer a variety of educational support programs with the aim to help our employees achieve “Good Growth”. Our training program is divided into different areas of expertise including leadership, job skills, language and corporate culture as well as personality training programs such as good education and internal culture program designed to help our employees develop their insight and flexibility. There are required courses and voluntary courses. While required courses focus on essential knowledge such as management strategies, business and corporate values, the voluntary courses can be chosen by individuals based on their need for self-development.
The “Common Competency Academy Course” is designed to provide our employees with opportunities to listen to lectures in various fields such as planning and accounting to help them advance their job performance and common job competencies required to perform their jobs. The courses consist of 6 tracks and 55 courses: Strategy / Management, Finance / Accounting, Marketing, Work Skill, Coway Understanding, Negotiation and Persuasion. “Coway Understanding” in particular offers personalized education sessions with focus on on-site experience in rental service and Heart Trust Companion and is met with great enthusiasm by our employees. In 2017, the common competency academy has been held 160 times and the number of training completed employees is 1,150.

We offer language learning programs for all employees based on their level of fluency as well as intensive language courses for candidates for overseas positions with focus on overseas business skills and diverse culture which are essential for us to increase our presence in the global market.
