Woongjin Coway won the gr prize in the manufacturing sector of the "2019 Koreas Reliability Awards" held at Sheraton Palace Hotel, Seoul, on December 5, proving its excellent quality competitiveness.

The Koreas Reliability Awards, hosted by the Korean Reliability Society, was prepared to award companies which contribute to the development of industries national economy improvement of customer satisfaction by dedicating to reinforcing the reliability of materials, components, products. Woongjin Coway has built a high-level reliability verification system developed test stards satisfying diverse usage environments at home abroad. This effort was highly recognized at the awards evaluation.

Woongjin Coway has been enhancing quality product reliability across the entire supply chain ranging from product planning, design, production to service through the TQA (Trust & Quality Assurance) Center dedicated to quality verification. The company applies the accelerated life test with stricter criteria than real usage guides to products components, improving their durability. Breakdown prediction cause analysis process by product function contribute to preventing potential troubles increasing the completeness of product design. Moreover, Woongjin Coway conducts field test at home abroad promptly applies test results to product design in order to assess product suitability from the perspective of real usage environment customers beyond limited conditions at labs.

The company has also built diverse data reliability stards by region by analyzing usage conditions including water quality, temperature, air pressure with the aim of reinforcing global quality verification capability pioneering new overseas markets. This activity was highly recognized at the awards evaluation as well.
